Namaste
CEOs and departmental heads approach me to work on relationships between employees in the organizations.
This has no shortcuts. This requires deep thinking and a shared vision. A vision that understands, empathizes, and is compassionate towards employees. Else all discussion is shallow and ego-centric.
Bosses look for quick solutions like many of us who look for fast food. Who wants to eat a karela (Bitter gourd)?
My counter questions for the CEOs
1. Do you have a volition to have healthy relationships in your company?
2. Do you have a clear operational definition of what healthy relationships mean for you?
3. Are you, your company, and the employees willing to work for the same? This means will you release your employees for coaching sessions even if you miss your sales target.
4. How much time, and money are you willing to invest?
5. What are the things you are willing to let go? Example - empowering people, power control, autonomy, and accountability.
6. Are you willing to have utmost transparency in operations? Are you willing to fulfill the promises you have made to the employees, without them asking it?
With gratitude
